Respiratory Therapist - NICU Transport PRN

Specializing in NICU transport, providing high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care in a comprehensive healthcare setting with advanced neonatal, cardiac, stroke, and emergency services. Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, including breath sounds and airway evaluation.
• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen, aerosol medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Assist with artificial airway placement and initiate, monitor, and maintain mechanical ventilation.
• Monitor patient response, notify providers, and intervene as needed.
• Support transportation of ventilator-dependent patients and respond to emergent situations ensuring airway and ventilation safety.

Requirements

• Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy.
• State Registered Respiratory Therapist credential.
• Level 3 NICU experience.
• Certifications: BCLS, ACLS, PALS, Neonate Resuscitation, and STABLE (obtained within specified timeframes).
