Respiratory Therapist - Full Time Night Shift

About the role

Respiratory Therapist responsible for providing respiratory care, oxygen services, diagnostic testing, and ventilation support to patients of all ages.

Responsibilities

• Perform therapeutic procedures, monitor and wean oxygen therapy and ventilation support.
• Draw, analyze, and report arterial blood gases and EKGs.
• Assist with airway management and deliver patient-specific treatments as ordered.
• Document clinical information, educate patients and staff, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Maintain professional certifications, stay updated on technical procedures, participate in staff meetings, and ensure legal and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree required.
• Current state license as a Respiratory Therapist and certification by the National Board of Respiratory Care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) for NICU; ACLS within 90 days of hire.

Skills

• Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
• Effective communication, strong analytical and interpersonal skills.
