Respiratory Therapist - FT

About the role

The Certified Respiratory Therapist will perform duties involved with the treatment, management control, diagnostic evaluation, and care of patients with deficiencies and/or abnormalities within the Pulmonary system. They will communicate with physicians and the respiratory team regarding patient progress in relation to the care plan.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic evaluations on patients with pulmonary conditions
• Treat and manage patients' respiratory needs
• Communicate with physicians and respiratory team regarding patient progress
• May have additional duties assigned within the scope of the role

Requirements

• Education: Degree in Respiratory Therapy
• License/Certification: Active ASBRT LRT required, Active NBRC CRT required, BLS required
• Additional Certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP, etc., may be required depending on area assigned

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work within rigid time constraints
• Reasoning ability and good independent judgment
