This role offers a unique balance of branch stability and multi-location coverage, supporting patients across Daytona Beach, Orlando, and Kissimmee. While on-call responsibilities are primarily handled through phone support, you will also have exposure to higher-acuity cases such as NIV setups, hospital discharges, and occasional urgent home visits, providing meaningful clinical variety and growth opportunities.
Key highlights
Work Arrangement: On-site; 70% office / 30% field
Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Covers Daytona Beach, Orlando, and Kissimmee territories
Travel up to 2 hours depending on patient needs
Salary range: $34 – $40 per hour. Compensation offered may vary based on job-related factors such as experience, skills, education, and location
On-Call transparency: Responsible for Daytona Beach on-call coverage and assisting Kissimmee branch. On-call is primarily phone-based support; occasional in-person visits required for: Emergency situations, NIV setups and/or hospital discharges.
What You’ll Do
Conduct home visits to perform oxygen, CPAP/BiPAP, and ventilation equipment setups and follow-ups
Educate patients and caregivers on equipment use, cleaning, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Assess patient needs, document care delivered, and escalate concerns appropriately
Respond to hospital discharge requests and support patient needs
Collaborate with physicians, case managers, and internal branch teams
Maintain accurate documentation using iPad/laptop
Set up and operate various types of respiratory care equipment, including, but not limited to, oxygen therapy, nebulization therapy, apnea monitoring, suctioning, PAP, invasive and non-invasive ventilation
Inspect and test equipment to ensure proper operating condition
Perform clinical assessments and tests such as pulse oximetry, ETCO2, spirometry, and gathering vital signs
Perform other duties as required
What We Look For
Certified or Registered Respiratory Therapist with an active FL RT license
Ability to stand, lift, push and/or pull objects ranging from 10 – 50 lbs
Valid driver's license
Comfortable using mobile technology, navigation tools, and digital documentation
Open to all experience levels
Education: Graduate of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program
Certificates, licenses, registrations or professional designations: Hold a current RCP license in the state of practice (or states that the location covers) if that state requires an RCP license to allow the practice of respiratory therapy; Hold a current CPR Certification; Hold all applicable licensure in good standing for all states of practice
