About the role

Provide all types of diagnostic and therapeutic therapy procedures throughout the medical complex for adults and neonates. Administer all types of respiratory therapy treatments, evaluate appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy, and assess patients to determine appropriate therapy and recommend the same to the physician. Position located at University Hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory therapy procedures for adults and neonates.
• Administer respiratory therapy treatments.
• Evaluate the appropriateness of physician-ordered therapy.
• Assess patients to determine appropriate therapy and make recommendations to physicians.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited two- or four-year school of Respiratory Therapy.
• Must comply with the Ohio Respiratory Care Board licensure guidelines.

Qualifications

• 2-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a major in respiratory therapy.
