Respiratory Therapist - Cardiopulmonary

Description

The Respiratory Therapist role at Mid Coast Hospital Brunswick, ME, performs diagnostic tests of cardiovascular and pulmonary systems to aid physicians/advanced practice practitioners in diagnosis and treatment of heart, lung, and blood vessel disorders. They administer respiratory care modalities and life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiovascular system, under supervision of the physician/advanced practice practitioner.

• Education: Graduate from AMA approved school of Respiratory Therapy required.
• Licenses/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Respiratory Care, RRT, or CRRT required. Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS, PALS and NRP Certifications required or must obtain within one year of start date or according to department guidelines.
• Experience: One year of acute care experience preferred.

Requirements

• Bonus: $20,000.00 sign on bonus for Respiratory Therapists, prorated for Part-time hires, per diem hires are ineligible.
• Eligibility: Current MaineHealth member employees are ineligible; former MaineHealth Members are ineligible until greater than 6 months separation from employment.
• Hiring Model: Self-Scheduling model.

Qualifications

Pay
