Respiratory Therapist

About the role

This position involves setting up and operating various types of respiratory care equipment to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases and illnesses. Services are provided to patients of all ages under the supervision of the Medical Advisor and Technical Manager of Respiratory Therapy.

Responsibilities

• Operate and set up respiratory care equipment
• Diagnose and treat respiratory diseases and illnesses
• Provide services to patients of all ages
• Work under the supervision of the Medical Advisor and Technical Manager of Respiratory Therapy

Requirements

• Graduate from an approved Registered Respiratory Therapist or Certified Respiratory Therapist program
• CPR within 30 days of 1st shift of direct patient care or prior to completion of orientation

Qualifications

• Experience preferred but not required

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory care equipment
• Ability to diagnose and treat respiratory diseases and illnesses
