Respiratory Therapist

About the role

This full-time Sleep Respiratory Therapist position is based at the South Campus, working 32 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in the Sleep Clinic and Diagnostic Labs.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients and families on sleep-related breathing disorders and PAP treatments
• Maintains compliance with PAP treatments and verifies settings
• Aids in patient intake, education, and support for daytime procedures such as PAP naps and Actigraphy
• Serves as a resource for patients, families, and community agencies
• Assists with discharge planning
• Assesses and manages home respiratory care
• Collaborates with care teams

Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree
• 2-3 years pediatric respiratory care experience
• RCP licensure, BLS certification
• Strong communication, customer service, and computer skills

Preferred

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 1-year sleep lab experience
• SDS or RPSGT certification
• Expertise in sleep breathing disorder management
