Job Responsibilities
- Administers respiratory therapy care and assisted life support to patients with deficiencies and abnormalities of the cardiopulmonary system, under the supervision of a Physician and by Patient Care Provider order.
- Provides prescribed medical treatment to patients in Acute Care, Med-Surg, ICU, ER, Labor and Delivery, Outpatient areas, and Specialty Clinic.
- Provides patient assessment and planning for optimal patient care.
- Communicates with providers about changes in patients clinical condition.
Requirements
- Holds a current and valid license as a Respiratory Therapist in the State of Nebraska.
- A Registered Respiratory Therapist certification is preferred, a Certified Respiratory Therapist certification is considered.
Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited Respiratory Therapy program.
- Two years of clinical experience is preferred, new graduates will be considered.
Benefits
- Full-time night position with shift hours 1445-0130; on-call 0130-0530.
- Full-time day position with shift hours 4 days on 3 days off.
