Responsibilities
- Performing clinical assessments
- Administering respiratory therapies
- Managing mechanical ventilation
- Performing EKGs
- Collecting blood specimens
- Documenting patient data
- Educating patients and families
Requirements
- 1-2 years of clinical experience, especially with ventilators
- Ability to work independently overnight
- Lift up to 50 lbs
- Demonstrate strong communication and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Valid state license
- RRT certification
- BLS certification; ACLS, NRP, PALS preferred within 6 months
- Education: Associate or bachelor's degree in respiratory therapy or equivalent
