Responsibilities

• Provide the full spectrum of respiratory care services as prescribed by physicians, utilizing a wide range of modalities in alignment with established standards, protocols, and best practices.
• Assess patient needs, administer treatments, and monitor responses.
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal respiratory function and overall patient well-being.

Requirements

• License to practice as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of New York.
• Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Current certification in Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS).
• Graduation from a Respiratory Therapy program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC).
• Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
• As a condition of continued employment, incumbents must obtain and maintain ACLS certification within ninety (90) days of appointment.

Pay

• Base Hourly Rate: $31.76
• Geographical Differential: $6.93
• Total Hourly Rate: $38.69
• Shift differentials:
  • $1.50/hour – Weekend Day Shift
  • $1.75/hour – Weekday Evening Shift
  • $3.00/hour – Weekend Evening Shift
  • $2.00/hour – Weekday Night Shift
  • $3.75/hour – Weekend Night Shift
