Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary

The Respiratory Therapist coordinates and delivers high quality, patient-centered respiratory care in accordance with the nature and specific requirements of the department, and consistent with the scope and standards of practice for the relevant state and specialty.

Qualifications

• Required:

  • Associate or Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school for Respiratory Therapy
  • 1+ years' experience in respiratory care
  • Currently licensed as a Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) in the state(s) of practice, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • Credentialed active member of the NBRC.

• PREFERRED:

  • Transition from a CRT to a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the state(s) of practice, in accordance with law and regulation.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)
