Respiratory Therapist

Responsibilities

• Administer respiratory therapies such as oxygen, aerosol, and airway management
• Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems
• Perform pulmonary diagnostics including ABGs and PFTs
• Develop and implement patient-specific respiratory care plans
• Document care in the EMR and respond to code blue and rapid response events
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to improve patient outcomes
• May serve as Lead RCP during shifts

Qualifications

• State RCP license and RRT certification from NBRCC
• Current BCLS and ACLS certifications; NRP and PALS preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma required
