About the Role
Performs comprehensive respiratory care for patients based on physician orders, acting as a resource for healthcare teams. Consults with physicians on therapy effectiveness and performs assigned duties.
Responsibilities
- Utilize respiratory care devices effectively
- Provide direct patient care and collaborate with medical teams
- Consult on therapy effectiveness and adjust treatments as needed
- Perform duties with attention to physical demands and safety
Requirements
- Graduate of a CoArc-approved Respiratory Care program
- Current Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license meeting state requirements
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential from the NBRC
- Physical ability to handle equipment and perform physical tasks
Qualifications
- Preferred: ACLS certification
- Preferred: Critical care experience
