Responsibilities
- Administer oxygen, aerosol, and airway management treatments
- Manage ventilators, BiPAP/CPAP, and high-flow oxygen systems
- Perform pulmonary diagnostics (ABGs, PFTs)
- Develop and implement patient-specific respiratory care plans
- Document care in EMR
- Respond to code blue and rapid response events
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- May serve as Lead RCP during shifts
Qualifications & Skills
- State RCP license and current BCLS, ACLS, PALS certifications
- NRP and PALS preferred
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from NBRC
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred; high school diploma or higher education required
- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills
