Role Overview The Respiratory Therapist provides critical respiratory care using clinical judgment and specialized skills. A Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) demonstrates competence by passing NBRC examinations and holds relevant licensure. The role involves assessing patients, implementing and evaluating care plans, administering medications, and educating patients and families. The therapist collaborates with healthcare teams, offers clinical leadership, and supports continuous learning to enhance patient outcomes.
