About the role
The Respiratory Therapist will provide technical/operational knowledge of all Respiratory Therapy modalities in the Cardiopulmonary department.
Responsibilities
- Follow established Hospital and Department policies and procedures
- Complete all required competencies as related to: noninvasive ventilation, invasive ventilation, oxygen therapy, newborn hearing screening, arterial blood gases, hand held nebulizer, holter monitoring (hookup and scanning), EKG, MUSE editor
- Show strong time management/organization skills, ability to multi-task and communicate effectively in a professional manner
Requirements
- Certified (CRT) or Registered (RRT) by NBRC
- Must hold a current Respiratory Care Practitioner license issued by the State of Vermont
