About the role
Delivers high-quality, safe patient care across all age groups.
Responsibilities
- Administers, monitors, and evaluates respiratory treatments for inpatients and outpatients.
- Uses professional judgment to apply protocols independently and responds proactively in emergencies.
- Provides education to patients, families, and staff on respiratory care, medications, and equipment.
- Collaborates with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure safe, effective care.
- Mentors new staff, students, and assists in training.
- Participates in rapid response and code blue teams, assists with patient mobility, and handles equipment transport.
- Supports various specialized teams after training, including neonatal, pediatric, ICU, and emergency care teams.
Qualifications & Skills
- Associates Degree in Respiratory Care or equivalent training.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential and licensure required.
- CPR, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certifications as applicable.
- Strong communication, technical, and computer skills.
- Ability to work under stress, demonstrate flexibility, and act professionally.
