Respiratory Therapist
About the role
Join an established team of Respiratory Therapists who share your passion for delivering highly specialized cardiopulmonary care to patients experiencing breathing issues. You'll be instrumental in providing a range of treatments from breathing techniques and nebulizer treatments to ventilator management, oxygen therapies, and external ventilation support.

Responsibilities
- Evaluating patient and recommending a treatment plan
- Providing respiratory care to patients with critical and complex medical/surgical conditions
- Performing/assisting insertion and removal of endotracheal tubes
- Performing timely and accurate documentation with the idea of real time charting
- Promoting continuous quality improvement
- Educating and counseling patients, family members, and caregivers
Requirements
- Graduate of an Accredited Respiratory Therapy Education Program
- Six (6) to twelve (12) months’ experience in Respiratory Care or other related field
- Respiratory Therapy Practitioner: North Dakota
- Certified Respiratory Therapist
- Basic Life Support (BLS) issued by the state of North Dakota
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support to be obtained within 30 Days of start date
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support to be obtained within 30 Days of start date
Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of North Dakota
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Current certification in Advanced Cardiac Life Support
- Current certification in Pediatric Advanced Life Support

Pay
The posted compensation range of $30.91 - $45.98 /hour is a reasonable estimate that extends from the lowest to the highest pay CommonSpirit in good faith believes it might pay for this particular job, based on the circumstances at the time of posting.
