About the role
Supports the Sleep Clinic and Diagnostic Labs at the South Campus.
Responsibilities
- Provides patient education on sleep-related breathing disorders and PAP therapy, monitors compliance, and verifies PAP settings.
- Affords assistance with intake, patient/family education, and supports sleep labs during procedures like PAP naps and MSLTs.
- Serves as a discharge planner, assessing and managing respiratory home care, coordinating treatments, and facilitating discharges in collaboration with the care team.
- Serves as a resource for patients, families, and community agencies, maintaining external liaisons.
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree
- 2-3 years pediatric respiratory care experience
- RCP and BLS licensure
- Strong communication and computer skills
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 1 year sleep lab experience
- SDS or RPSGT certification
- Expertise in sleep-related breathing disorder management
