How you’ll make an impact in this role
Assess respiratory health needs and develop personalized, evidence-based care plans to ensure targeted and effective treatment for patients with respiratory insufficiencies.
Implement advanced respiratory care modalities and continuously monitor patient responses, making timely clinical adjustments to support optimal recovery.
Lead life-saving interventions during cardiopulmonary emergencies as a critical member of the resuscitation team to ensure rapid, effective response.
Empower patients and their families by providing clear, compassionate education on their condition, treatments, and available community resources to foster confident self-management.
Ensure procedural readiness by maintaining and calibrating all respiratory equipment, guaranteeing reliable performance during every critical care delivery.
Minimum Requirements You’ll Need
Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Respiratory Care Practitioner credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Certification specializing in Neonatal Resuscitation credentialed from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) preferred.
Education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
