Respiratory Therapist

About the Role

This is a PRN (as needed) night shift position at UChicago Medicine AdventHealth in Hinsdale, Illinois.

Responsibilities

• Documents and charges for procedures accurately and completely
• Demonstrates collaboration and teamwork in assisting with patient flow
• Practices standard precautions and enforces safety regulations according to hospital policies
• Interprets evaluations and test results to determine appropriate treatment plans in consultation with interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Responds to all Code Blue emergencies immediately providing CPR according to the American Heart Association
• Performs other duties as directed

Patient Population

Patient care skills to care for neonatal, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient populations per hospital needs.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science (required)
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification (required)
• Basic Life Support - CPR certification (BLS) (required)
• 1+ years critical care experience (preferred)

Pay

$25.90 - $52.52
