Respiratory Therapist – $10,000 Sign-On BONUS*
About the role
The Respiratory Therapist is responsible for the performance of technical work concerned with administering therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care and life support to patients with cardiopulmonary deficiencies and abnormalities. Operating and monitoring respiratory equipment, such as, continuous and intermittent ventilators, medical gas delivery apparatus, incentive breathing/hyperinflation devices, environmental control systems, and aerosol devices; administering medical gases, humidification, aerosols, and respiratory medications; maintaining clearance of patients natural and artificial airways; providing primary assistance in cardiopulmonary resuscitation; and if applicable, obtaining blood samples, running blood samples, maintaining the Arterial blood gas laboratory, reporting analyte results and interpreting blood gas data.

Requirements
- Licensed Respiratory Care Practitioner in state of employment (RT, RRT, CRT).
- Certified ACLS.
- Certified BLS.
- Minimum of one to three years of related work experience.
- Ability to read and communicate effectively in English.
- Additional languages desirable.
- Basic computer knowledge.
