About the role

MUSC/Florence Medical Center seeks a PRN Respiratory Student to join their team!

Responsibilities

• Administer pharmacological, diagnostic, and therapeutic agents related to respiratory care procedures.
• Assess, observe, and monitor signs and symptoms, general behavior, and physical responses to respiratory care treatments and diagnostic tests.
• Implement appropriate respiratory care procedures and protocols based on physician orders.
• Initiate emergency procedures as needed.
• Collaborate with other professional disciplines to ensure effective and efficient patient care delivery.

Requirements

• Active and in good standing respiratory student.
• Direct supervision of a licensed Respiratory Therapy professional.
• Proven clinical competence certified by a program approved by the AARC.
• Current BLS certification as required by program affiliation.

Qualifications

• Education: Respiratory student.
• Experience: None required.
• Licenses/Certificates: Current BLS certification.

Skills

• Respiratory care administration.
• Emergency response procedures.
• Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.

Pay

Hourly pay rate as per the Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA).
