Respiratory Care Practitioner - Waukesha Memorial - PRN/As Needed

About the role

The Respiratory Care Practitioner at Waukesha Memorial Hospital works on a PRN/As Needed basis. The position involves caring for adult, pediatric, and neonatal patient populations.

Responsibilities

• Identifies abnormal/normal pulmonary data, ABG’s, chest x-rays, and lab values.
• Demonstrates and maintains competency of emergent bedside bronchoscopy procedures.
• Demonstrates and maintains competency of the INOvent.

Requirements

• Associates Degree from a COARC accredited School for Respiratory Therapy.
• Licensed as a RCP in the State of Wisconsin.
• Registered Respiratory Therapy (RRT) credential from the National Board for Respiratory Care is preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required within a year of hire. PALS certification preferred.
• Recent Respiratory Therapist experience with an emphasis in critical care areas.
• Strong work experience and independent, critical thinking skills are beneficial.

Qualifications
