About the Role
Provides respiratory care evaluations, administers prescribed therapies, and monitors patient progress.
Responsibilities
- Assesses patients and develops care plans
- Delivers treatments per physician orders
- Educates patients and families
- Maintains respiratory care equipment
- Responds to emergencies
- Adheres to safety and policy guidelines
Requirements
- Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Minimum one year of relevant experience
- Active Respiratory Therapist certification/license in the respective state
- Physical stamina for standing, lifting, and performing various movements
Certifications Needed
- BLS Healthcare Provider
- RRT (Registered Respiratory Therapist)
- State-specific licensing
Schedule
Night shift, PRN position.
