We are looking for a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to care for our diverse patient population. The Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) performs routine therapy, diagnostic and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order. Provides phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine respiratory therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
- Maintain respiratory equipment in working order.
- Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing as required or requested.
Requirements
- Certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
- Current BLS and ACLS certification.
- Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
- For hospitals that perform arterial punctures and/or run blood gases, at least a high school diploma is required; an associate degree is preferred.
Qualifications
- Minimum of one-year clinical respiratory experience preferred.
- Prior inpatient hospital experience or a desire and commitment to learn.
