Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) - FT Days | Dayton Specialty

About the role

We are seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our team and care for a diverse patient population. The ideal candidate will have prior inpatient hospital experience or a strong desire and commitment to learn. The RCP performs routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients in PAM Health hospitals and maintains all equipment in working order.

• Perform routine therapy, diagnostic, and emergency cardiopulmonary procedures for patients.
• Maintain all respiratory equipment in working order.
• Provide phlebotomy and basic laboratory testing for the patient population as required or requested.
• Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.

Requirements

• Certified or licensed in the state where the hospital resides to practice respiratory care.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification.
• Blood gas licensure required if employed in the state of Nevada.
• At least a high school diploma required; preferably an associate degree.
• Minimum of one year of clinical respiratory experience preferred.
