Respiratory Care Practitioner - Night Shift

About the role

We are hiring Respiratory Care Practitioners (RCPs) or Respiratory Therapists (RTs) for full-time night shifts to join our healthcare team.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of contemporary respiratory therapy principles.
• Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with the delivery and management of respiratory therapies, including operating complex ventilatory support systems, monitoring devices, and performing patient assessments.
• Participate in department and unit-specific orientation programs.
• Provide additional patient care functions within qualification scope.

Requirements

• Certification, license, or registration as required.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Skills

• Knowledge of respiratory care procedures and equipment.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Ability to operate and maintain complex respiratory and ventilatory support systems.
• Commitment to patient-centered, whole-person care.
