About the Role
Respiratory Care Practitioner at Providence Holy Family Hospital in Spokane, WA. Responsible for helping to maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols. Required to exercise initiative in developing ideas or in responding to or adjusting problem situations. Supervised by the Charge Therapist/Lead Therapist or Supervisor. Work processes and assignments for patients of all ages frequently require the incumbent to interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity.
Responsibilities
- Helping to maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient's cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and/or departmental protocols.
- Exercising initiative in developing ideas or in responding to or adjusting problem situations.
- Interpreting and applying operating procedures, technical standards, and/or protocols to problems of varying degrees of complexity.
Requirements
- Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
- Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- Sufficient experience to enable the employee to work effectively in commonplace work situations and to provide a working knowledge of the principles, practices, standards, methods, and techniques of the Respiratory Care field.
Qualifications
- 1 year Acute Care experience preferred.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
