Respiratory Care Practitioner and Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner - Sleep Lab

Respiratory Care Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Help maintain or restore maximum functioning of the patient’s cardiopulmonary system in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Exercise initiative in developing ideas or responding to problem situations; interpret and apply operating procedures, technical standards, and protocols to varying levels of complexity.
• Share “charge” supervision responsibilities, typically overseeing approximately three employees.

Requirements

• Graduate of an AMA‑approved school for Respiratory Care.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• Sleep Disorders Specialty – National Board for Respiratory Care within 2 years of hire (required).
• Preferred: Recent experience in the field of Sleep Study Technology.

Salary Range

Spokane, WA – Minimum $34.90 per hour, Maximum $54.19 per hour (base pay; additional compensation such as shift differentials, overtime, premiums, or bonuses may apply).

Senior Respiratory Care Practitioner

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care using appropriate knowledge and skills in collaboration with the health‑care team.
• Deliver skilled, creative, discipline‑specific therapeutic services to cardiopulmonary patients.
• Utilize current best practice to manage patient care within a multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes.
• May supervise volunteers, students, or other supportive personnel.
• Maintain a pleasant, respectful, and courteous demeanor with patients, families, staff, and visitors.

Requirements

• Education meeting certification, license, or registration requirements.
• Washington Respiratory Care Practitioner License upon hire.
• National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist or Respiratory Care Practitioner.

Salary Range

Spokane, WA – Minimum $37.04 per hour, Maximum $57.51 per hour (base pay; additional compensation such as shift differentials, overtime, premiums, or bonuses may apply).
