Northwest HealthCare, six miles west of Christian Hospital, offers 24-hour emergency care, a Sleep Disorders Center, and various outpatient diagnostic and imaging services. The Physical Therapy Department provides services to patients of all ages with musculoskeletal deficiencies.
Pay
- $20/hr for less than 1 year of experience
- $21/hr for greater than 1 year of experience
Must be currently enrolled in a Respiratory School Program. PRN3 shift per 6-week period required.
Responsibilities
- Performs various basic routine diagnostic and therapeutic respiratory procedures in general care areas according to established standards, procedures, guidelines, and policies.
- Recognizes and seeks assistance with abnormal findings and/or changes in patient status to other healthcare team members.
- Effectively communicates by participating in the exchange of information, including documentation, handoff, and collaborative work with the healthcare team.
- Holds self-accountable and seeks opportunities for continuous learning, feedback, and effective time management.
- Processes equipment according to manufacturer and industry standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- No prior experience required
- Basic Cardiovascular Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Must be currently enrolled in a Respiratory School Program
