About the role
Teach courses in Respiratory Care based on instructor qualifications. Adjunct instructor positions are part-time. Teaching assignments vary by semester and are dependent on enrollment.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and grade students’ class work, assignments, and papers.
- Prepare and deliver instructional materials (syllabi, homework assignments, handouts) in-person and/or online.
- Facilitate and moderate classroom discussions.
- Compile, administer, and grade examinations.
- Participate in reporting processes (grades, participation, etc.).
- Assist students in connecting with college resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Respiratory Care and a current State of Michigan RT license, OR
- Associate degree or higher in Respiratory Care and a current State of Michigan RT license plus 3 years of full-time (or equivalent part-time) ICU experience.
