Resource Teacher / Case Manager
About the role
The resource teacher is responsible for providing academic and executive functioning support to students in small-group and pull-out settings, as well as push-in support within the classroom. As a case manager, the resource teacher will work closely with grade-level lead teachers, the school social worker, school administration, and parents to meet the academic needs of all students on their caseload.
Qualifications
- Degree in education and/or special education (Bachelors or higher).
- LBS1 and/or Reading Specialist certification from Illinois State Board of Education (preferred).
- Experience teaching (preferred).
