Resource Room Teacher - Manchester Elementary School

About the role

We are seeking a Special Education Resource Room Teacher to serve students in grades K–5 who receive specially designed instruction through their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).

Responsibilities

• Direct instruction
• Case management
• Teacher consultation
• Family engagement
• Overall support for students receiving special education

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field
• Master’s degree in Special Education preferred
• Knowledge of Special Education laws and best practices
• Ability to maintain a structured, positive, and inclusive environment
• Effective communication and collaboration skills
• Experience with direct instruction in literacy, math, functional skills and social skills preferred

Salary Range

$47,500 through $84,575 based on degree level and years of teaching experience
