About the role
This Resource Manager position is available at any location in the United States. Ideally, selected candidates will be near a Jacobs U.S.-based office, but the company intends to hire the best candidates regardless of location. The role serves as a strategic workforce planning leader for the Architectural Department within the Data Center Performance Unit, focusing on optimizing staffing assignments, forecasting resource needs, supporting department growth, and providing operational support for efficient project delivery across a rapidly expanding data center portfolio.

- Facilitate new hire onboarding with HR, IT, and local office administrative personnel; act as a Jacobs Navigator or assign to Sector Managers as necessary.
- Develop an onboarding process and coordinate logistics with Jacobs Navigators for new hires.
- Arrange local office onboarding with facility management to confirm new hires have required badging and security access.
- Review and approve staff timesheets of direct or indirect reports as identified.
- Serve as the department's liaison to centralized AM Support Functions (HR, Finance, Legal, IT, Marketing & Comms) rather than duplicating those functions within the department.
