Resource Instructional Assistant (Title Schools Only) - 26/27 SY

About the Role

Provide classroom assistance and instruction for children with special needs. Implement behavior plans, attend team meetings to problem-solve, collect data on interventions, and create and implement support for students with disabilities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• One year of experience working in a school or with children with special needs, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential duties
• Experience supervising children preferred
• Ability to maintain confidentiality of privileged student, school, teacher, and parent information
• Willingness to participate in training sessions as directed
• Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate's Degree or higher, OR 60 credit hours from an accredited institution of higher education, OR a passing score on an ADE-approved assessment (Parapro, ACT Workkeys, or Master Teacher's Para Educator Learning Network)

Schedule

20 hours per week, 194 days per school year (2026/2027 school year).

Pay

Band - Support A12: $18.11/hour (entry level).
