Resource Development VISTA
Member Duties
Work with the team to review IRC Florida’s current donor prospecting strategy, establish a work plan for implementation of the strategy and monitor the workflow of the team.
Grow and update database for funding opportunities, conduct ongoing research related to pre-award grant opportunities.
Assist with preparing notifications of opportunities for site leadership to review and approve.
Attend grants webinars and information sessions to understand funder requirements and prepare opportunity summaries for the team.
Draft grant proposals following funder requirements for the team to review.
Prepare Letters of Interest, Letters of Introduction and Expression of Interest documents to prospective donors.
Work with the team to raise the visibility and credibility of IRC Florida by providing information about IRC’s client needs and journeys to self-sufficiency, IRC’s data-driven program effectiveness, and opportunities to engage with IRC as a donor, volunteer, intern or community supporter.
