Resource Conservationist 1 Field Technician

About the role

To assist with the inventorying, planning, application, and maintenance of the Delaware SWCD’s natural resource program.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Ohio driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Must meet and maintain qualifications for driving on District business at all times, including insurability.

Responsibilities

• Conducts inspections of District projects including those under Ohio Revised Code 6131 and 6137, as well as agricultural conservation practices.
• Based on inspections, identify needed work on projects.
• Perform any work as directed by supervisor.
• Reports findings of suspected pollution of drainage channels to the District Administrator in accordance with the Ohio Revised Code.
• Maintains equipment in good working order.
• Maintains the inventory of related supplies properly.
• Maintains records of completed work.
• Assists
