Resort Grounds Worker | Temporary

About the role

This is a full-time, peak-load, temporary position from May 1, 2026, to February 28, 2027. The role involves maintaining the resort grounds using hand or power tools and equipment, with duties performed without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Mow, trim, dig, water, mulch, and rake resort grounds
• Remove snow via shoveling or equipment
• Collect and remove litter and debris
• Maintain upkeep of buildings and resort grounds

Requirements

• No prior experience or education required
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs
• Subject to drug testing and pre-employment criminal background checks (paid by employer)
• Must work a 5-day schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Conversational English required

Pay

• Base pay: $19.96 to $20.00 per hour
• Overtime: $29.94 to $30.00 per hour (time-and-a-half after 40 hours per workweek)
• Wages may increase based on experience, performance, tenure, or market conditions
• Pay period: Weekly

Schedule

• 35 hours per week, Saturday to Friday
• Various 8-hour shifts (e.g., 7am–3pm, 12pm–8pm, 3pm–11pm, 4pm–12am, 5pm–1am, or 9pm–5am)
• Shift times may vary with occupancy and events
