Resin Material Handler

Responsibilities

• Operate extruding machine
• Remove reprocessed material for molded product
• Act as Relief Operator when required
• Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned
• Complete required paperwork
• Supply chips and regrinds to all extruders
• Unload chip deliveries via skid steer into holding bins in a timely manner
• Store and procure material to be extruded
• Store reprocessed material in proper locations
• Maintain a sufficient supply of gaylords, pallets, plastic bags and other necessary production-related material
• Work on special projects as required

Requirements

• Follow all safety requirements
• Operate forklift and pallet jack
• Achie forklift certification
• Achie Skid steer certification
• Perform Quality Auditor duties as trained
• Wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment including completing a fit test for a respirator
• Must be able to drive forklift and/or skid steer as needed throughout the day

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• General verbal, written and math skills
• Able to lift 50 lbs
• Able to stand up twelve (12) hours a day
• Self-motivated
• Successfully complete a Forklift Driver Training Program
• Able to bend, push, pull and twist to move gaylords of material, chips, and repro to various workstations
• Able to shovel, sweep, or otherwise move material and equipment as needed
• Detail understanding of Extruding Machine Operation
• Able to work outside in the elements as needed throughout the year

Benefits

• Starting pay rate is $22.36 per hour plus $.35 shift differential
• 1st Shift Hours (Mon - Fri 7am - 3pm)
• 2nd Shift Hours - (Mon - Fri 3pm-11pm)
• 3rd Shift Hours (Mon - Fri - 11pm -7am)
