Residential Youth Care Worker: Verona (Horizons)

About the role

We are seeking candidates who are compassionate, adaptable, and dedicated to empowering youth and adolescents to help them achieve their full potential.

Responsibilities

• Provide required levels of supervision and security for residents at all times.
• Promote healthy, professional, and mentoring relationships with residents.
• Participate in all service components, including referral, intake, assessment, service planning and delivery, and discharge.
• Provide timely and accurate written and verbal documentation of all program operations and service components.
• Serve as a liaison between residents and external agencies.
• Supervise and document the administration of medication.
• Provide transportation for residents to ensure their safety and attendance for appointments.
• Attend all meetings, supervisions, and trainings as required.

Requirements

• A high school diploma/GED.
• A valid driver's license.
• A schedule may require working evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime, as required and/or directed.
• Excellent computer skills and strong communication skills.
• Support the organization's mission along with sensitivity of cultural and workplace.
• Ability to handle confidential information and HIPAA guidelines.

$18-$20/hour

Schedule

Schedules available are 7a-3pm, 3p-11p, & 11p - 7a and weekend block shifts.
