About the role
You could make a difference in someone’s life every day as a Residential Support Specialist. Residential Support Specialists work one-on-one and in groups with clients experiencing mental health challenges. Within the residential setting you will assist the clients as they learn and practice the skills for independent living.
Responsibilities
- Help residents prepare meals
- Practice housekeeping skills with residents
- Work on interpersonal and coping skills with residents
- Document clients' progress and experiences
- Document medication management and recovery process
Requirements
- To be at least 21 years old
- A high school diploma or GED certificate and 5 years of supervised clinical experience
- A bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field, or a bachelor’s degree in an unrelated field and 2 years of supervised clinical experience
Qualifications
- Passion for mental health advocacy
- Effective communication and relationship-building skills
- Compassion and respect while working in someone’s home
- Good writing skills and attention to detail
- On-call for multiple sites

Benefits
- Competitive pay – Base rate: $23.10 - $25.10 per hour
