About the role

Providing support, supervision, and positive role modeling to residents. Assisting with medication monitoring and administration in line with program policies. Maintaining accurate, confidential documentation. Preparing meals and handling light housekeeping and laundry tasks. Supporting residents with daily living skills and treatment goals. Responding to emergencies and crisis situations appropriately. Transporting residents to appointments and community resources. Collecting urine samples and administering breathalyzer tests as needed. Participating in staff meetings and training sessions.

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or GED required
• Experience in human services, behavioral health, or substance use recovery preferred
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently while maintaining professional boundaries
• Compassionate, patient, and respectful approach to diverse populations
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and acceptable driving record

DHS 83 training preferred; local travel may be needed (25–50%).
