RESIDENTIAL SPECIALIST

About the role

Supportive Concepts for Families, Inc., an Affiliate of Apis Services, is seeking to hire Full-Time Residential Specialists to provide direct support to individuals in a Mental Health residential home in Reading.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all daily activities within the home, including but not limited to: personal care and support, meal preparation, medication administration, shopping, leisure activities, and ensuring the well-being and safety of the individuals that we serve.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Valid Driver’s License
• Some previous experience working directly with people with developmental disabilities preferred

Qualifications

• Criminal Record History Clearance, & FBI
• PA Driver's License
• Physical & Drug Screening
• Ability to attend and successfully complete all sponsored training

Skills

• Proficiency in English communication, both verbal and written, with proper use of grammar and vocabulary

Schedule

The schedule for this position is a two week rotation of one week being Monday through Friday 4pm-12am and another week being Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday, and Sunday 4pm-12am.
