Residential Services Coordinator II Detox
About the role
Residential Service Coordinator II positions at Father Joe's Villages provide critical support to individuals in the early stages of recovery from substance use disorders. Our detoxification program offers 24/7 care, helping clients navigate withdrawal and move towards lasting change.
Responsibilities
- Welcome clients into the detox program by conducting intake, orientation, screening, and assessment activities while fostering a supportive and recovery-focused environment.
- Maintain a safe, structured, and trauma-informed residential environment by reinforcing program expectations and addressing behavioral concerns.
- Collaborate with counselors, nurses, case managers, and community providers to coordinate services and support successful recovery outcomes.
- Complete accurate documentation, client records, and incident reports in compliance with licensing, regulatory, and program requirements.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or GED.
- An associate degree in Behavioral Health, Human Services, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field preferred.
- RADT registration required within established timelines by state regulations.
- CADC, CATC, or other recognized alcohol and drug counseling certification preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience working in substance use disorder treatment, behavioral health, residential services, healthcare, social services, or a related field.
- Experience supporting individuals experiencing homelessness, co-occurring mental health conditions, trauma, or complex psychosocial needs preferred.
- Experience with crisis intervention, client engagement, and recovery-oriented services.
- Demonstrated commitment to serving vulnerable populations with compassion, respect, and a belief in every person's capacity for recovery and change.
- Basic computer proficiency and experience maintaining electronic client records.

- Sound judgment and ability to make appropriate decisions in fast-paced or crisis situations.

- Commitment to teamwork, accountability, and delivering services with compassion, respect, empathy, empowerment, and dignity.
Work Schedule
This is a full-time position, typically 40 hours per week, scheduled Monday through Friday. Work hours may vary slightly based on client needs, housing appointments, or program requirements.
Pay & Benefits
- The anticipated starting pay range for this role is $22.00 to $23.31 per hour.
