Residential Sales Specialist

The primary purpose of this role is to sell the company's industry‑leading pest management services and products to new and existing residential customers while maintaining a customer‑focused service to grow the business. You’ll be the face of our national brand in your local community, and clients will rely on you to protect their homes and families. This involves assessing customer needs through consultation and expert analysis of our products and services, resulting in tailored pest‑control solutions.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspect homes for pests, pest harborage, pest entries, etc.
• Based on assessment findings, sell pest control solutions and preventative maintenance to residential customers.
• Collaborate with the Customer Service Center, Inside Sales department, and Technicians to increase opportunities.
• Partner with the Branch Manager to identify revenue streams from the existing customer base and through service specialist engagement.
• Develop proposals to resolve existing pest issues and propose additional enhancements to household pest services.
• Complete home diagrams using the Sales CRM to ensure clear understanding of the customer’s home and potential challenges.
• Follow up on past proposals to close sales opportunities.
• Provide expert knowledge during new service installations to ensure satisfactory completion.
• Track daily activities and sales performance using the company sales CRM.

Essential Job Functions

• Ability to move up to 10 lbs. regularly and 11–20 lbs. frequently (lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or repositioning objects).
• Frequent movement including sitting, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling; navigating stairs, ladders, scaffolding, ramps, and poles while maintaining balance on narrow, slippery, or moving surfaces.
• Comfort working with various pests (spiders, flies, mosquitoes, rodents, etc.) and entering small spaces such as basements, crawl spaces, and attics.
• Ability to safely operate a motor vehicle and keep it and all equipment clean (company vehicle and gas card provided).
• Willingness to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) such as an OSHA‑compliant respirator and to work regularly in confined spaces, narrow aisles, or passageways.
