What You Will Do

• Analyze completed title searches for accuracy and completeness.
• Evaluate and interpret various types of documentation to determine property ownership and encumbrances.
• Analyze chain of title and identify defects.
• Create property reports and title commitments based on thorough research.
• Enter extracted information into reports or software with strong attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure accuracy and completeness of title searches.
• Examine and evaluate property records and legal documents.
• Prepare detailed reports on title-related matters.
• Collaborate with the customer service team to address customer inquiries.

What You Bring

• At least 1-4 years of experience as a title abstractor/examiner, including online search experience.
• Familiarity with state guidelines and searching various jurisdictions.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools like Word and Excel.
• Experience with title search platforms (Softpro, Qualia, Datatrace, etc.) is helpful but not required.
• Strong judgment in handling confidential borrower data.
• Excellent collaboration and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and under pressure.
• Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
