About the role

The Aileen O'Connor House is an adult residential facility where the Residential Re-Entry Specialist will provide supervision and complete required program operations. The position requires upholding Agency policies and procedures related to client safety, security, and community protection.

Responsibilities

  • Report to work 15 minutes before scheduled shift.
  • Provide updates on client issues and incidents.
  • Verify physical items being passed between shifts.
  • Ensure security of facility keys.
  • Conduct employment, job search, and home confinement spot checks.
  • Conduct common area, room, and perimeter searches as assigned.
  • Conduct pat/pocket searches on all clients entering the facility.
  • Complete house counts every hour and document results.
  • Transport clients as needed in a Company vehicle.
  • Conduct monthly emergency drills.
  • Secure urines from same sex clients and complete required paperwork.
  • Sign all visitors and contractors in and out of the facility.
  • Facilitate client orientation as assigned.
  • Maintain client movement in and out of the facility.
  • Monitor client's self-administration of medication.
  • Schedule: Saturday-Sunday 8am-4pm.
  • Pay Rate: $19.75 per hour.

Requirements

  • A High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience in the social service or criminal justice field preferred.
  • Educational requirements may be substituted with relevant experience on a one-year-for-one-year basis.
  • Able to arrive 15 minutes before shift for shift change, may also be required to stay later.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Valid driver's license.

Qualifications
