Residential Re-Entry Specialist (Per Diem)

About the role

The Delaware RRC is an adult residential facility where Community Solutions, Inc. (CSI) provides supervision and completes required program operations. The role includes upholding Agency policies and procedures, serving as a role model, and facilitating various services to support successful community re-entry.

Responsibilities

• Report to work 15 minutes before scheduled shift.
• Conduct Urinalysis.
• Provide updates on client issues and incidents.
• Verify physical items being passed between shifts.
• Ensure security of facility keys.
• Conduct employment, job search, and home confinement spot checks.
• Conduct common area, room, and perimeter searches as assigned.
• Conduct pat/pocket searches on all clients entering the facility.
• Confiscate contraband and complete incident reports.
• Transport clients as needed in a Company vehicle.
• Complete monthly emergency drills.
• Secure urines from same sex clients and complete required paperwork.
• Serve as a role model and provide a safe environment.
• Facilitate client orientation and movement in and out of the facility.
• Maintain accurate records of client self-administration of medication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma plus 4 years’ experience in the social service or criminal justice field.
• Pass a Federal Bureau of Prisons background check.
• Attend 40 hours of FBOP required training prior to working FBOP clients.
• Strong attention to details.
• Valid driver’s license.

Pay

• $19.75 per hour, as well as any applicable shift differentials.

Schedule

• Per-diem as needed, required to complete all CSI provided trainings, work, and attend one (1) shift per month.
